This is Bea. She’s a nineteen year old psychology first year at University College London and avid ballet dancer from North Carolina, USA. She and her parents moved to London earlier this year, but Bea lives in her university halls, and her parents in Chelsea, but she’ll still see them every Sunday for lunch. Ask Bea why she moved to London and she’ll tell you all about the London Ballet Troupe and how amazing she thinks British culture is and how much she loves UCL. All those things are partially true, but the real reason is because she and her parents were no longer welcome in the small town that they had grown up in. Just before her high school graduation, her seventeen year old brother, Ash, took a gun into school and killed four of his fellow high-schoolers, before killing himself. She and her brother had always been inseparable, but with ballet consuming her time, Bea failed to notice the struggle of her baby brother. It was a small town, and people knew that the Howletts were the blame for the event that had torn the community apart. Even those that said they weren’t to blame couldn’t repair their fractured relationship with the family. A new start ensued, in London, a city big enough to be invisible in and a place where nobody knew them.

Bea is sarcastic, and loud, and competitive. If she doesn’t like something, she’ll let you know. Some call it being a bitch, she calls it being honest. She’s particularly defensive, and doesn’t wear her heart on her sleeve at all. She’s a bit of a joker, and sometimes that’s at the expense of others’ feelings. Bea is independent, a bit of a free spirit, and hates plans, and desk jobs, and time restrictions, and being told what to do. That’s probably why she tends to steer away from relationships.

bea tends to get on better with guys than girls. being a dancer, she’s spent most of her time with girls, and has found out the hard way about the cattiness and bitchiness that ensues. she’s not particularly sentimental, and doesn’t want to gossip, and complain about boyfriends, and paint nails together. having had her brother as her best friend growing up, she got along with him so well, and wasn’t exactly a tomboy, but climbing trees always appealed so much more than playing barbies.

bea is very competitive, and her sarcasm can come across badly on people. I wouldn’t say she’d have full-on enemies, unless they or she had done something actually terrible, but there’d probably be a few people that fall into the annoyances category.

bea says she’s given up on boyfriends. she hates being tied down or constrained, having to act in a certain way. she’s not a slut: she prefers the term ‘fun’. she knows how to go out and have a good time. so random hook-ups and friends with benefits would be likely.

yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes! we could throw a bit of a twist on it, hey? like they only meet to hook up, but they always end up chatting and stuff, so they're actually really close. so it's not like they meet up for coffee, or to actually hang out without the sex, but like there aren't any awkward morning afters trying to get the other to leave. they seem quite similar in their sarcasm and banter, so i guess they could just wind each other up and stuff, just playfully? and bea's brother was called ash, so she probably looooooves the fact that this ash is in life. twisted? only slightly.

bea always always always promised herself that she wouldn't get attached, and she is resolute that she doesn't want a relationship. but i duuuunno, i want to have bea all confused like 'ash is amazing blah blah but i just really don't want to be with anyone'. i guess after this whole sabrina ordeal, she'll be pretty jealous, et cetera. we can make them both suffer muhahaha.
