Bored. That was what Sammie Jones was as she lied on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. Her dad was out doing something for work, her brother was at work, and she wasn't sure what her sisters were doing. Probably something fun, something other then laying on their bed staring at the ceiling. Sammie hated being bored...and alone with nothing to do. She sat up and looked around her room. When she lived in Houston there was always something to do. Here, in London, Sammie haven't found much to do. It was August, so school hadn't started yet, through Sammie wasn't really looking forward to it. Not because she was studying something she didn't like, which she wasn't, or because she was nervous, she wasn't, but because none of her friends were be there. Her friends from Houston and her had always planned to go to the local college together and help each other in their studies. Now that plan was out the window and had been for a month. Sure, Sammie was eighteen and could live on her own, but she just didn't have the heart to leave her family, not yet anyways.
Sammie got up and walked to her window, opening it, then sticking her head out. Kids were playing down below. Sammie watched them for a few seconds before closing the window and walked over to her dresser, looking for her wallet. Once she found it, she open it, pulling out two twenty dollar bills. She sighed to herself. She didn't have a job yet, through she wasn't sure she really wanted one at the moment. Once school started, she would be to busy with that for a job. Anyways, she usually did chores around the house to get money from her dad. She stuck the bills back in to her wallet, and decided to get dress to go out something. She pulled out black jeans shorts and a white short sleeve top from her dresser and quickly put them on. Then grabbing her wallet, she left her room, closing the door behind her. A couple of minutes later, Sammie was locking the door behind her.
Sammie didn't really know her way around London yet, but she did know that way to Metro Shopping Fund. She had been there a few times before, just to get some clothes. Now, however, Sammie didn't need clothes, instead she decided to walk around the mall, quickly looking at each store name to find something of interest.
