It was almost too hard for Jimmy to believe that it had already been three years. Looking back, it seemed a little shorter than that. He shuffled around the apartment, still waiting for Alex to come home from his university classes. It seemed like both of them were a lot busier lately. He spent most of his time helping out Marie at the gallery, attending Art school, and staying home working in the studio...which was an absolute mess at the moment. Alex was usually gone when he was home and he was gone when Alex was home. Even their schedules were opposite.
He was pretty excited though, because today, he had nothing on his to-do list. Art classes weren't in session for the week, Marie had given him some time off to hand out and finish the pen and ink drawing, and he was already finished with that, so it had worked out perfectly. Even as a twenty-year old, he was short and skinny and perfectly pale. He was only about 5'8 at the most. For Jimmy it was hard to believe that he'd grown an inch as he'd transitioned over the years from seventeen to twenty. Not because that wasn't a lot, just because it was rare if he grew any taller than that. Hell, he hadn't even thought he'd survive long enough to reach the age of twenty.
As it grew later by the second, he moved into the kitchen to start on dinner before Alex got home. He walking in and out of the kitchen, alternating between watching the door, cooking, and checking on the surprise he had planned. A bright, white-gold ring with a saphire embedded in it. It was an engagement ring, and it made him nervous as fuck to have it in his pocket. Jimmy finished dinner and set it on the table just as he heard the door unlock. He let out a quiet, mischevious laugh and ran back into their room to hide, not even minding that he'd forgotten to turn the radio off. He hadn't even told Alex he was supposed to be home today. That would've taken the fun out of the surprise. With a small smile, he waited for just the right moment to jump out.

Alex and Jimmy had, well been together for what seemed like forever. In a good way of course, understandably due to the fact that they both cared a hell of a lot. It didn't seem like too long ago when they moved in together, it really was something special to the innocent boy. Who would have thought that three years ago, that they would have met. Unfortunately his schedule was being difficult, not allowing him to get any time with his boyfriend. Going to the university was supposed to make him able to be a veterinary surgeon. He always loved animals, and this was his way of coming to peace with Fido's death. The kick of the whole degree was that he'd have to do this for five years, which meant less time with Jimmy.
Today was pretty dull; less time with his boyfriend. He almost didn't want to have classes, well due to the fact that it was a bit of a rift between them. Through the years, he had found to trust the other boy completely. With all of his heart, even if it had not felt like that long ago. He was thinking of all of the new things that he had learned today as he came home. Something seemed... off. Or actually on, ironically enough. The radio was still on, he crept inside the flat and started skipping like a princess. Well he was one according to Jimmy.
A meal was made; this was odd. Usually he had to either cook for himself or eat out. He sat down, wondering how this came to be. Then deciding that the radio should be turned on to a romantic song, he got up and swiftly changed it. He looked around, wondering if it was something that Jimmy left with a note for him. A blush covered his features, making him look like a tomato at the thought. Jimmy always was a romantic like him, even if the other boy wouldn't admit it. He hummed quietly to himself, wondering who it was, not even thinking of how much this should have scared him.

Silently, in his head, he counted to seventeen. Because let's face it, sometimes, you need an extra seven. Creeping in a crouch to the end of the hall, he used the remote to turn the radio off, supressing a bit of laughter, deciding messing with Alex was fun. And it was, because his boyfriend always found some way to make everything he did perfectly adorable. He retreated back to the room, not making a sound. Being a theif growing up had made him especially sneaky. He messed with the lightswitch that controlled the living and kitchen areas, flipping it on and off, ducking back into the room before causing various other kinds of mischeifs.
With a devious smile, Jimmy nonchalantly entered the kitchen, flipping the radio back on as he did. "Hey there, beautiful. How was school?" he asked, kissing Alex's cheek and picking up their plates, walking into the living room and setting the plates on the coffee table. Traveling back into the kitchen, casually he scooped Alex up in his arms, settling down on the couch to watch Doctor Who re-runs. Softly he leaned in and pressed a pretty intense kiss to the younger boy's lips, pulling the other into his lap and picking at his dinner.
"I have a surprise for you." He said subtly, actually not talking about the ring in his pocket. Jimmy picked up a JFK rose that he'd laid near the couch earlier. With a crooked half grin, he handed the rose to Alex with a cutesy wink. "Red roses are so cliche." he murmured, watching the show a little more, or looking that way at least. He was actually just kind of staring off into space and fiddling with his earrings nervously, even though he knew that over the course of three years they'd learned eachothers habits, and that Alex could possibly pick up on his anxiety. Even after as long as it seemed they'd known eachother, it still made him scared out of his pants to pop the question.

A noticed the radio being turned off and tilted his head a bit. He blushed a bit and gave a giggle, once again thinking of Jimmy. Maybe this was a sign that a note was around here somewhere? The lights flickered a bit and he looked a little scared. Why was this happening? He had a bit of a helpless look until the event concluded. It was like a haunted house, and Alex never did like them, or not cry during them. Then of course, it was a lot different then right now, it wasn't really scary that much. In comparison of course.
A managed a deep rosy color as Jimmy walked in and called him beautiful. Luckily he managed keeping himself from fainting at being called beautiful. "Hello my Prince Charming. I think I'm really getting good with animals, you?" A smile was onto his face in seconds, erasing all of the worry from before. "I've missed you." It was a bit of a whisper, he had. They didn't get a lot of time together, and they had to make these moments last. His cheek was kissed, causing when they kissed on the couch, it was intense. Hunger was gnawing at his concious mind.
He pulled back as the other boy did, and saw a beautiful rose. "This is beautiful." A smile was on his face and he gasped a bit. It was just ravishing in the way that it was, if he hadn't known any better he'd think that this would mean something big. But then again, Jimmy was a romantic person.

"I'd hope so, considering all the attention you give them." Jimmy teased with a silly, dramatic pout. He really had missed Alex. The house was too empty without the other boy around, and seeing eachother late at night or on the weekends...just wasn't cutting it. He made a quick not to schedule more days like these to spend with his princess. "I missed you too, sweetheart." he whispered back. He'd noticed the intensity he'd recieved back from Alex, taking a moment to realize he'd accidentally touched the other's cheek. Twirling his fingers in the other boy's hair, he pulled back, hoping he'd get to ask before he got distracted.
Smiling, he laughed lightly at the reaction he'd recieved. "Glad you like it. But I know someone prettier." Jimmy arched an eyebrow deviously, in kind of a challenging way. "I'm looking at him right now." he chuckled. Wrapping his arms around Alex, he snuggled closer, a smaller smile still plain on his face. He enjoyed the rare moments they had together, and it almost made him sad that they didn't see eachother as much. He was just thankful he had the time with Alex that he did, no matter how short it was. Just seeing the other boy brightened his day.
"I'm full of surprises today." he said mischeviously. Working up all of his courage, he shifted so that Alex could lay on his chest. "In fact, one of them is in my pocket." Jimmy wasn't planning on just handing the ring over, though. If Alex wanted it, he was going to have to take it. With a sly grin, he promptly attempted to tickle the other boy, trying to make it difficult for him. Laughing, the tickling turned more into cuddling, but he never once let Alex near his pocket. He wasn't going to play keep away for long, though. He wanted to make sure he asked tonight, because for him, waiting was torture.

Alex gave a bit of a smile and a chuckle. "I always have time for my Prince though." He gave this some thought, and he knew he would. Of course he would, that was something that he always remembered that Jimmy would be, his soulmate. He always was wondering about where they were, if it was like pre-marriage or just serious. Not knowing how far you are to the goal of most things, spending time with the one that you love. They both had their odd ways of saying 'I love you' and calling each other nicknames was one of them.
"Your the handsomest prince I've ever seen." He gave a smile, showing that he was planning on winning this challenge. He liked being called pretty, so he once again blushed. It was nice to be around the other boy, time was of the essence. Weekends weren't enough it seemed for either of them, and both wanted some more of the other. Physically and emotionally, or at least that was what Alex definitely did.
Alex thought of what was in the pocket.. could it be? It was, wasn't it? It was a ring. He was tickled as he laughed loudly, trying to reach the ring. Jimmy had found his weakness, he was smiling and at some point he gave up. Due to the fact that the laughing was so intense, well until it turned into a bit more of a cuddle. Accidently he gave a bit of a tug on Jimmy's hair, he had forgotten that it was something that was an on-button for Jimmy. Oh well for that, too late. It felt so nice being next to the other boy's body, it made his heart pump. He kept his act up though, he might just be proposed to.

Blushing lightly, he smiled at the nickname. "I love you." he replied, kissing the other boy's forehead softly. He could have said that over and over again and still wouldn't have been able to express just how much he loved Alex. Jimmy knew no other way besides that. It almost made him sad, that he couldn't find the words to say to his soulmate of all people. He figured he'd eventually find the right way though. They had the rest of their lives, as far as he knew. He didn't know if he could stand waiting that long to find just the right things to say.
With a laugh, he continued to tickle the other boy. Weekends just didn't work. By that time, they were both too worn out to do anything realtionship wise, besides snuggle. They always snuggled. A lot. Plus, he wanted more of Alex. More time to talk, more time to goof around, and maybe even more time to get 'physical'. Flushing a dark red at the mere thought of that, he attempted to focus. After he'd stopped tickling, Alex seemed to give in, but not without dealing a tug to his hair. Jimmy supressed the urge to emit a moan, instead nuzzling into the other boy's neck, biting and kissing and leaving behind a trail of hickeys. His mind hazed out momentarily, but came back into focus a few moments later.
Pulling away, his cheeks flared red. "Sorry." he murmured. Attempting to get his train of thought back on track, he gently sat up, slipping off the couch. He wanted to do this officially, down on one knee and everything. "So...before we get distracted again." he laughed lightly, "I'm pretty sure you've already figured it out by now. This is...pretty big. And, to be honest I'm kind of nervous. And if you aren't ready, I totally understand." After admitting it, he felt a little better. After a momentary pause, he knelt down appropriately, "...um, Marry me?" he asked, pulling the box out of his pocket and opening it to reveal the ring.

"I love you too." Smiling he answered the statement of love. It was a one of those things that you couldn't say to just anyone, it had to be that special someone. This is what love was, a binding force that reminds you of who does mean the most to you. The people that you can say it to, and what it means. Once again Alex was losing focus on the situation.
His neck was bit a tad, and it tickled his skin a bit just like the fingers had before. At the sight of an apology he replied, "It's okay." His neck had well, hickeys on it. Not that he cared, but these were his first from Jimmy in their relationship. They had never had sex, due to the fact that he insisted in the past not until they were married, or engaged. It just was how he was, even if he already lost his virgin status, acting as if it was intact was normal for him. He was pretty innocent.
"I would be honored to Jimmy Danger Regall." A gasp of pure joy escaped his lips as he realized that this was what he thought: they were going to get married! Pretty much this meant that they were ready to have kids or something of that sort, he didn't know how to exactly. Well not with a boy, his parents explained the talk to him a little while ago. So this means, that Jimmy was official his, in obviously put in legal terms. A smile was on his face and he figured out that he was the girl in the relationship, just as some people had said, and he didn't mind anymore. As long as Jimmy was where Alex was, he did not mind his status.
A thought came into the innocent boy's head: what about their bachelor parties? That would be fun and exciting. The girls, after awhile, forgave him for changing so quickly. They even felt that it was somewhat understandable, if they didn't squeal about it, he was a pig with wings on its back that lived in the Columbian area.

He almost wondered if he'd heard right. Had...Alex said yes? He felt joy coursing throughout his body, and his heart fluttered, starting up the butterflies in his stomach. Slipping the ring onto the other boy's finger, he smiled brightly, probably the happiest smile he'd ever managed to work up. Jimmy stood up, immediately wrapping his arms around Alex and hugging him tightly. Alex was his. Forever. Until death did they part. Or at least, after they were well enough married. What would come after this? At the moment, his mind was racing too fast to care. In the end, his mind concluded that even if this was official, he would never need some ceremony to tell him Alex was his. Though, it was a nice touch.
Burying his head in the crook of Alex's neck, he couldn't get the smile off of his face if his tried. He was pretty sure this was the happiest he'd even been, ever, in his entire life. There was really no good way to explain just how...excited he was. Parties? Weddings? Children? He could have been asked anything at the moment and he still would have responded joyfully. Jimmy almost wanted to explode with happiness, which would've defeated the purpose of proposing (for he would be dead. Duh.) but still, the feeling overwhelmed him enormously.
He definitely had to call Elena and Jax and Marie later. Definitely. He needed to tell...someone. Maybe even the whole world! It would be simple to just run out into the streets and shout at the top of his lungs, but he was a little more composed than that. Well, on the outside at least. On the inside he was melting with love and congenial feelings. His heart had swelled up, figuratively, and was nearly collapsing in from all the joyful emotions. It was too used to Jimmy being a very solemn, quietly loving kind of guy. This sudden erruption of feels was causing chaos. He wasn't even sure how to respond, much less what to do now, after they'd gotten past that 'Happily ever after' thing. Now what?

Jimmy hugged A tightly and put the ring on his hand. It was especially interesting to him that the other boy was so quick. For a moment he took a good look at the ring; it was rather ravishing on his finger. The sapphire was beautiful, not as much as Jimmy was, but it was quite bewidering and amazing. "Jimmy now that we're engaged, do you want to...?"
A gave a look of open possiblities and possibly it was a bit of a plea. Maybe not, but it did seem that it was so. Although he hadn't said the word, he thought he remembered telling the other boy, not until they were married. Honestly he didn't know what the response would be, but maybe that didn't matter. It didn't much, other than it was something he had promised, in a way.
A pressed his lips against Jimmy's in a bit of a rough manner. Not that it was not unexpected, many couples do such things. Just from A, it was not. Especially due to the fact he was usually so gentle. Hunger was gnawing at his conscious telling him to go faster, to kiss harder. A was a bit of a beast, not a boy at that moment. Was he becoming more sensual? That is an obvious answer.
He broke away from the intense kiss and asked, as if it was something like the time of day, "Want me to continue?" He hoped that it was a yes, tonight was the night for them to have their first. Of most likely many. A bit of a smirk played on his lips and he then gave a smile. What was the answer? Honestly he had not an idea in the world of what to do next.

A smile pulled at his lips when he saw Alex looking over the ring. "Do you like it?" he asked quietly. Normally he didn't seek to please anyone, but Alex was an exception to this, because Jimmy was always curious to know what the other boy was thinking. He enjoyed making the other boy happy, and definitely liked to know his opinion. The ring was easier to come by than it seemed. It'd been an heirloom from his grandmother, a long time ago, back before his mother had gone crazy and his father had died. It was sentimental, and considering it was just as special to him as Alex was, it felt right to him, letting it go like that.
For a few split seconds, he was confused at the question presented to him, but he figured out. He remembered promising to wait until they were married, and honoring his promises was a big part of his beliefs. Not to mention, he respected Alex's wishes, and generally knew better than to hurt the other boy. Jimmy loved him too much. Blushing light pink, he smiled sheepishly and looked at his feet briefly. "I'm okay with that, if it's what you want." he answered, glancing at Alex from under his eyelashes in what could have been considered a slightly seductive look.
He was lightly surprised at the roughness of the kiss, but managed to come back with the same intensity, matching the ferocity of it. His subconcious was nagging at him to speed things up, but he managed to keep such desires at bay for now. His heart started to pick up the pace, and he let his hands slide from Alex's waist to his hips. Pulling away, he breathed heavily and took a minute to get his mind back on track. With a small laugh at how easily Alex transitioned from sexual to casual in a split second, he nodded. The same seductive look presented itself and he let loose a small, crooked smile. "Go ahead. What's mine is yours." he replied with a silly wink.

"It looks so ravishing. My Prince Charming has great taste." A smile came onto his face and Jimmy posed a question. "But, your much more bewildering than any ring." A put this somewhat jokingly and added a wink. Somehow he managed to be seductive in the manner that could cause someone to attack them. Attack in a manner that was romantic, and he only did this so the other boy would go in for the kill. The more the merrier, right?
The way that Jimmy was positioned, it drove the hunger to another level. From floor one to all the way to the roof. It was skyrocketing in power over him in such a subtle manner, he wasn't sure if he was moving or if it was his instincts. A blush was forming onto his face, making him as red as a ruby. His heart was pumping so loud that it could be heard from his ears and he wondered if Jimmy could hear how fast it was racing. A moan escaped his lips as they kissed.
After Jimmy seductively, once again, pulled him into a hazy state of mind he was on top of the other boy. Kisses were flying quicker than you would even think to be imaginable.
