Blood. It was gross, metallic, and it was the only taste in his mouth at the moment. His dull hazel eyes grazed the sky above him, black hair messily creating a dark halo around his head. Chest rising and falling slowly, he breathed in a labored breath, ribs hurting. Scratch that, his whole body hurt. His muscles felt sore and bruised. His bones felt achy. He coughed, feeling immediate pain in the ribs that were visible through his skin. The world had kicked him while he was down, once again. He was undecided on whether or not to try and pick himself up and carry on or just lie there. From what he knew about the fight he'd just lost, he wouldn't make it another hour or two in the cold alley near the park with the amount of blood he was losing.
Maybe it was for the better. After all, at the moment, dying didn't seem so bad to a guy who'd been fighting his whole life just to live. The light in his eyes was slowly fading anyways, sooner or later, they'd be completely dim. They'd be staring past the sky, into the afterlife, if there was one. Jimmy's shallow breaths were getting shallower as moments passed. His head lolled to the side, catching a glimpse of his pale hand. It was a battle just to flex and close it. Just to see if he was still concious enough to do so. His fingers trembled and obeyed him halfway, before returning to their original, curled position and he sighed, having to breathe in again as the sigh took all the air from his shallowed oxygen supply.
Jimmy stared up at the sky once again, fearing the idea of blinking. He didn't want his eyes to close forever. His heart rate dropped again. Had it been an hour? A few minutes? A matter of seconds? Had his life slipped out of his curled, translucently pale fingers that quickly? He couldn't decide. Darkness was licking at the corners of his mind. He was just waiting for his life to flash before his eyes, quickly becoming duller and developing dark circles around them, contrasting his gaunt skin. He was waiting for a parade to escort him to the underworld. Jimmy had no idea what death would be like, as he'd spent his whole life fighting it off, even if it was moot. Every day, every second his life was spilling away and he came much closer to dying. A quick question ran across his mind.
Famous last words? Nothing came to mind.

Alex was just having a normal day, one that his protective family always provided. It was just go to the mall with your friends, have a soda with them, get a few comments about what a girl he was, and the rest of the day. The time that wasn't mapped out, was his guy pals trying to get him to come to the bar, and just shag a girl, like they did all the time. Alex's parents would never let him go to a bar, or even fathom letting him shag a girl, ever. Is it crazy that his life was simple as could be?
Alex never really knew about the real world, or even knew basic things about society, like the fact you don't go around carrying hundreds, in dark alleys. Sadly for the naive young boy, the boys were practically tying him up to take a trip to the bar, and Alex's parents were late. They told Alex that they were going to do some romantic 'things' and that he needed to leave the house for awhile, until it was time for him to return. They told their son, that at ten, to come home. In a way, it seems that naivete ran in the family, that they trusted the fellows to take care of him.
Eventually after, hit and misses, with many girls, and Alex's refusal to drink anything they let him sit outside of the bar. Looking around, he noticed something, a glimmer of red. Blood comes from people, not from air, as Alex took to note in science class. Approaching the, boy, bleeding on the ground, Alex knew that he had to help. He didn't care that it was a stranger; he had to patch the fellow up. Funny enough, Alex actually knew how to treat wounds like this; his parents always told him just in case. Of what? Of this, it seemed to the innocent, somewhat dumb, boy.
To start off, the treatment, of the bleeding wound, Alex remembered that he had to add pressure. He ripped off a piece of his nice blue polo, and held it there, firmly. Not even thinking about, what this boy could do, or would do, when he was in shock, wasn't what Alex was thinking of. It was about how he would save another's life, and he thanked his parents, that they would teach him how to help this attractive fellow.

Jimmy immediately reacted in pain, wincing and jerking away. His eyes must have closed while he was trying to think of words to mark the occaision of what he had thought to be the time of his dying. Eyes flying open, he attempted to grab the other boy's arm to try and push him away, but his own body wouldn't listen to him. He motionlessly stared up at a pair of blue eyes, his face contorted slightly in pain. Who was this random guy? He didn't look like anyone Jimmy had ever seen around the area. Too weak to speak, he just decided to lay there. Not like the other guy could put him in any more pain than the suffering he was already going through.
After a few minutes, he managed to work up enough strength to question."...W...what are you d-doing?" he asked, his voice quiet and raspy. It had been an effort just to choke the words out. He breathed a little bit more steadily, now that his life wasn't spilling away in the form of crimson blood. Jimmy could feel the feeling returning to his body, and he managed to place a cold, pale hand over the other boy's. In his defense, he wasn't in his right mind right now. Not to mention, the guy was saving his life. "Who are you?" he croaked, waiting momentarily for an answer, frowning slightly. He didn't like being seen as vunerable as he was at the moment.
With a quiet groan and a string of curses, he managed to sit up, trying to make himself look strong. He didn't want to seem weak in front of this kid. At the moment, he wasn't doing a fairly good job at it. He got to his knees, one hand propping himself up and the other over the wound. He huffed steadily, trying to fight the muscles in his body that were telling him to lie back down. It was his own stubbornness again. Jimmy could be so hard headed it was stupid sometimes. Coughing up a mouth full of blood, he took a bit of time to take slow and steady breaths. He glanced weakly at the other boy, trying to keep his calm and cool under fire expression. His pain shined through.

It seemed as if the other person was in pain, the look in the other boys eyes told him this. It was just so, strained. Alex, if it had been any other moment other than this, would have noticed what a looker the fellow was. He was really attractive, and Alex knew this. Wasn't the reason at all that he did save him, no it was because it was right to help others. And he didn't like to see another person in pain; he was a really sensitive guy.
"Saving your life." Alex then noticed the pale hand on top of his, causing butterflies to flutter within his belly. It was odd for him to feel this way, it was unlike anyother. He never ever had been in an relationship before, it was new to have this feeling. Was this what guys spoke around him about? Is this what they call a 'crush'? The one thing that Alex always knew about relationships, is that they involved love. And Alex loved everyone really, even this stranger that he barely knew.
Alex barely even noticed the question about his name. It was surprising that this fellow could even focus; he was moments ago preparing to meet the Grim Reaper. "I'm Alex." He looked into the other boys eyes, they were so beautiful. "Sorry." He looked away, obviously the other fellow didn't want his help. He was making the other person take help when they didn't want it. That seemed wrong to do and he wanted to please this stranger; he had a 'crush' on the other it seemed to him as well. He wanted to act like the sappy wuss that everyone called him, but he didn't want to hurt the fellow any more than he had. "Do you want some help up?" He was starting to come to tears, he was selfish and horrible. What type of person was he?

Blinking in silent amazement, Jimmy held back a gasp at the sudden buzz of electricity he felt when he touched Alex's hand. It didn't hurt, no, but it was like one of those things that happened when you met someone special. He tried to ignore it. He'd been around the block a couple times, and at the moment, shagging someone who'd randomly decided to save his life was not on the top of his priorities list. Unfortunately, that's how a lot of his relationships ended up. Most guys or girls he'd met while traveling the U.K. had mainly only gotten with him for the sex. There was no doubt that he wouldn't mind some kind of make out session at a later date, assuming he continuously saw the other boy, but it really wasn't the thing to be thinking about at the moment. He was not in the mood to go down that road at the moment.
His eyes silently potrayed pain when he glanced at Alex, but he nodded in reply to the offer for help. He was really in no condition to refuse, even if he felt that it was a weak act. Jimmy looked away as he managed to stand with some help, holding a hand against the wound him his stomach. He glanced back at the younger boy, noticing his eyes watering. His dark eyebrows arched, and he reached over to wipe away a stray tear. "Hey. I'm going to be fine, thanks to you. Nothing to worry about." He assured. Getting a better look at the boy, Jimmy's mind couldn't help but point out that he wasn't too bad looking. It was a miracle that his hazel eyes managed to sweep up the other boy's figure only once. Checking his wound briefly, as to keep himself from staring, he made note that he was still only bleeding a little bit.
Jimmy looked back at Alex again, debating briefly before deciding to drag the other boy along with him. For one, the kid looked lonely, and even Jimmy himself, the heartless cold bastard that he usually seemed to be could respect that, because he was starting to get that way lately. He also didn't want this kid to get beat up. They were in a rough patch of town, and leaving Alex alone didn't seem like such a good idea. It was just asshole-ish, and the kid had just saved him, so it was the least he could do. And though he wouldn't admit it out loud, he kind of managed a crush on the kid. He was pretty for a guy.
He grabbed Alex's hand and started to walk towards the nearest 7/11 where he figured they would have some spare medicinal supplies. If the kid wanted to help, well, Jimmy needed a lot of help at the moment. He had so many things on his mind that he didn't even notice he'd forgotten to introduce himself. Walking into the bright little corner store, trailing the other boy behind him, he requested the medical supplies, getting stares from the other customers. He grabbed the little medical kit and dragged Alex into the boys restroom with him. Not even thinking twice about it, he nonchalantly threw off his jacket, his shirt following it. Thrusting the medical kit at the other boy, he met his eyes once again. "Mind helping me out with this?" He asked, glancing at the wound to his stomach. Looking up again, he quickly told the kid his name. "I'm Jimmy, by the way."

Something stirred inside of Alex. It was, something that he hadn't felt before. It was lust and an attraction towards another person, it was new to him. Somehow, he knew that the other person, was definitely important. Someone that he wished to know better; Alex doubted the other fellow felt the same attraction or even felt the same way about him. His heart began to speed up, and it felt as if it would bounce out of his chest. He knew that all of his friends would encourage him to go after the other fellow, because before he didn't show any acknowledgement of finding any person attractive. "Thanks."
Somehow, it seemed as if Jimmy wasn't angry at the fact that he was crying; this surprised dear Alex a lot. Most of the guys he hung out with were always frustrated with him, and the tears that he shed continually. For a moment, it seemed to him that Jimmy was actually showing affections toward him. Nice as it was to think such things, that didn't mean they were true. A thought flickered into the naive Alex, they felt close right now. Buzzing butterflies were overwhelming his senses once again; making another thought of Jimmy's hand surface. It was so, calming to him, and he liked that. Remembering the fact that the tear he was going to shed, being brushed away, made his soul hum with happiness.
Being dragged around was naturally something that people did to him, so he didn't mind a bit. Not at all, and it made him feel all the closer to Jimmy. Space between them was almost non-existant, only if he could inch just a bit closer to him. Not like it was something that didn't unsettle Alex at all, it was a new feeling for him. It was as many people called it, 'a spark' only if the fire would flourish into a flame. What if the feeling was mutual? What would happen then?
A 7/11, was the store that they entered together. Hand in hand, Alex was drug into the shop. Inching into his heart, was a feeling of love. It was towards all people, even this stranger. It was equal to all others, for the moment, but it was just a bit stronger ties to Jimmy. Medical supplies? Obviously to keep the wound from getting infected or something of that sort. To do it the official way, as to keep Jimmy, just a little less vulnerable. When he was dragged into the bathroom, his skin turned into a deep red. He was looking just like a tomato, and he knew it, from the mirrors all around him. In what seemed like mere seconds; Jimmy's shirt was off.
Alex knew the fellow before him was very nice looking, but not taking the time that Jimmy's figure deserved, he answered the question presented, "Of course." A smile was perfectly imprinted onto his face, trying to show how useful he could be. Alex grabbed the medical box, and started to fumble through it. He was looking at bandages, neosporin, and a few other items. And all that he could think of was how attractive Jimmy was. Not like that was as important as Jimmy's well being, but it still flittered in his mind all the same.

Leaning against the door of one of the bathroom stalls, he watched Alex go through the medical kit. He would have lied to say he wasn't affectionate towards the kid. It was unexplained to him, the way his heart and soul was working against his mind- and winning. Maybe it was the lonliness softening him up again. It seemed to be doing that a lot lately. Whatever was going on, he knew he was being a little more loving towards Alex than he had been to most of the people he'd ever met. Maybe it was the innocence he seemed to portray. Jimmy was the pure opposite of innocence. He drank, he smoked, he slept around, but this kid looked as if he'd never gone farther than a kiss on the cheek with anyone.
That was something that stuck in the dark corner of his mind. The evil, worldly, distorted part of him hissed at the thought of someone so pure. It beckoned and screamed and yelled for Jimmy to taint that innocence. But he wasn't like that. He didn't mindlessly follow his instincts everytime they called him to do something. He was a renegade. He rebelled against everything, even himself. But it wasn't like he could deny the lusty feelings deep inside his chest forever. He was almost tempted to completely forget about the wound in his stomach, to lunge forward and attack the other boy with random kisses or drag him into an empty bathroom stall. His concious thankfully kept a leash on those temptations, making sure they stayed as thoughts and didn't transfer themselves into actions.
Not that Jimmy would ever point it out, but he had seen the kid blush a bright, cherry red color. It stuck a brief, satisfied smirk on his lips knowing that he'd made the kid flush. It also made it a little bit more difficult for him to pass up an oppertunity to reach out and touch the other boy. His curiousity was on a roll now, wondering how the other's skin felt. Realizing he'd turned a ruby red color at the thought of it, he shoved the thought out of his mind and tried to focus on something else, failing horribly. He'd ended up focusing on Alex's face and eyes, noting every detail, but mostly spending his attention on the eyes. They were a pretty sky blue color, enthralling and making him lose sight of everything he was trying desperately not to do.
Before he'd even realized what'd happened, he had reached out an gently pressed his hand to Alex's cheek, still staring at him. It took him a moment to notice what he was doing and slightly embarrassed by his mindless actions, he took his hand away, mumbling and appology and biting his lip. Jimmy was out of his mind, or at least, he thought he was. He had no filter at the moment. After a moment of cursing at himself violently, he glanced back up at those enthralling blue eyes, not even heasitating before pushing forward and stealing a kiss.

To Alex it seemed that Jimmy was watching him. Not that he minded in the least, but still he felt eyes trained on him. Maybe it wasn't true, but Alex just had a feeling. You know that moment when you want to bite into that cookie and you know that someone, is envious; it was somewhat like that to Alex. Knowing that Jimmy wasn't what seemed like, the most sensitive person on the block. It wasn't who everyone thought he would end up with, someone who was as emotional as he. Someone who looked at nature, or something. Honestly, everyone that Alex was meeting was wrong for him, other than Jimmy. Jimmy just felt right, it was just a nice thing, why explain?
In a crevice, something that was asleep was awoken. It was in a deep slumber, it was where the feeling of lust had began to emerge from. It was confusing; and Alex didn't know what to do with such feelings. He stood still as a rock, not knowing what he should do, to give in to them or to act as if he didn't feel the emotions. Choosing the latter, due to the fact it seemed the easiest, wasn't a piece of cake.
A smirk on Jimmy's face, somewhat showed that Alex's blush wasn't unnoticed. How did he feel about that? Honestly the innocent fellow didn't know how he did, the waters that he was swimming were uncharted. A dip in a new ocean was what it seemed he was doing, as he felt Jimmy's hand on his face, and he did the same. Alex knew that his skin was as soft as a baby's bottom, more so than some girls' hands. Most of the guys catagorized him due to this fact; it just wasn't 'manly' of him to feel so silky smooth.
Fireworks seemed to fly when Alex felt Jimmy's lips on his. It was magical; no one person thought that he'd ever have one. Nevertheless be given one by another person. For a moment, nature was acting; and somehow, deep inside, Alex knew how to respond. He tugged on Jimmy's hair, just because something told him to. That was what it seemed to be to him, that mother nature was doing him a favor. Maybe a little bit of innocence was shed at the moment, but his shell of naivete was still surrounding him.

He couldn't help what'd happened. Not only did he feel a heightened sense of need- or maybe it was want -for Alex, but just the simple act of feeling the soft skin of his cheek was enough to throw Jimmy into a frenzy. He wasn't sure why he needed this, but he just did, and it was one of the most selfish things he'd done in a while. And it was indeed selfish. It wasn't like this was some kind of strange thank you to the other boy for saving his life, it was just raw and unpurified feelings. It was a reaction.
His eyes flew open and closed just as fast when he felt his hair being tugged on. A shiver went through him and he supressed the urge to moan lightly. He ran his hands along Alex's waist, mapping out his favorite dips and curves of the other boy's body as he pressed him into the wall of the bathroom stall. His mind went hazy and he almost couldn't think for the moment. His heart and body went onto autopilot and he couldn't barely control himself. Until of course, he realized what he was doing and where he was doing it at. Pulling away, he stopped and stared at Alex, silently catching his breath and shaking his head. "Not here. Not in this bathroom." he breathed. He wasn't going to deny it, he actually didn't care where they were so long as he didn't have to give up the feeling pulsing through his body.
Jimmy snatched up his shirt and his jacket, for once not even caring that the large burn on his back was showing. He didn't care that the tattoo just above the hem of his jeans peaked out. He just wanted out of that 7/11 as soon as he was able. Reaching for Alex's hand, he entertwined their fingers together, an intimate gesture, and walking out of the store a disheveled, hot mess. He towed Alex behind him for a couple yards until they were safely out of the reach of any streetlights. "Where do we go?" he asked, realizing he'd been the one leading them everywhere. Considering he was having issues thinking clearly at the moment, he figured the other boy would have a lot better luck with the decision making.

It seemed as if sharks were attracted to blood, just as much as want made its victims resort to frenzies. That seemed to be as true as could be; or at least that was what Jimmy seemed to show when he touched Alex's face. Funny enough, the thought of Jimmy's injury never had struck into Alex's mind. How it was raw, and just shocked the little innocent boy's system. He hadn't ever gotten a kiss before, nevertheless feel the intense emotions that were enveloping his conscious mind. Innocence still remained, it just was lessened. What could you call this flame? Honestly at that moment, not even a sci-fi convention could make Alex focus on anything else.
Funny enough, the song that was starting to race through his head was You Are My Sunshine. Not like it was lust filled, but it just was how much he loved Jimmy. It was a short amount of time from when they met each other, but somehow he just felt as if they were meant to be. Maybe it was just a feeling, but he felt that they had something. Then again, it was his first relationship, with anyone, so what could he know?
Somehow, Jimmy was able to pull back. Both of them seemed to really have loved that feeling; it was amazing to Alex. Entrancing, was the word that could explain the feeling. Somehow Alex felt that it was his fault that Jimmy didn't like it; he wasn't experienced enough. The thought made him forget to take notice of some of Jimmy's features; it still shocked him to his core the whole thing. That it happened, that he enjoyed it, what would you call this? A good shag, or a kiss? Honestly Alex was unsure of what it was, he hadn't even had 'the talk', whatever that was.
"We can go to my house." Alex gave a shrug, he didn't think it was a big deal. Not like his parents would notice; they were wrestling, that's why they let out grunts and stuff like that. It was always weird to Alex that they liked it so much, but whatever, they could play video games or watch a movie together.

Warily, Jimmy nodded in answer to the suggestion of going to Alex's house. It had never actually crossed his mind that the kid he'd been running around with all night might have actually had a family that cared for him. He suddenly felt guilty. What if his family was worried about him? Checking his watch, he noted the time. "Er...what time were you supposed to be home? Will they be mad at you?" he asked. No, he himself didn't care what Alex's parents thought, but he was really not in the mood to get the guy he'd started to take a shine to into trouble. Especially not at eleven thirty at night.
He allowed Alex to lead him to the house, looking over it carefully, as if the house itself could at any time fall upon it's foundations and attack him. And that was when he noticed the strange familiarity of the place. Jimmy squinted, silently trying to figure out where he'd seen the place. His childhood home. It looked just like the place where he'd grown up. His eyes widened, but he attempted to pass off the sudden jittery feeling. He stood awkwardly with a glance at Alex, puzzling over whether or not he should put his shirt back on.
Jimmy followed the younger boy into the house, instantly feeling out of place in the normalacy of the atmosphere. If Alex's parents were awake, he really hoped they weren't pissed off. That was never fun. Inching closer to Alex, he wrapped his arm around the other's waist and leaned down next to his ear. "So...what's the plan?" he asked shiftily, trying not to fidget or mess with his earings.

Jimmy took a look at his watch and asked Alex a question that he didn't expect. Honestly, his parents said ten at the earliest, they really loved to wrestle around. "Ten, but they told me I could stay out as long as I liked." Honestly, when he thought about it, why didn't his parents ever invite him to wrestle? That just wasn't fair; he was going to have to ask as to why. "My parents are wrestling in there, they grunt and stuff so I don't think they'll mind that I'm a bit late, they get caught up in it a lot."
Alex gave a shrug and gave Jimmy a peck on the cheek before he began to drag him to his own house. Somehow, the thought of earlier still tainted his little innocent mind. Nevertheless, it made his own heart race as if it were pounding loud enough for another to hear; he tried to slow his breathing. "Do you think I'm sappy? Is that why you drew away?" Alex looked into the others eyes and hoped that he wouldn't be angry with him. He stopped before they entered into the house, nervously waiting for his answer. It wasn't easy for him to admit how insecure he was, it might scare Jimmy off. Or maybe Jimmy didn't feel the same way and might not want him around or something, maybe that’s why he pulled away.
Then something hit Alex; Jimmy seemed unsettled. Of what? Feeling that Jimmy most likely didn't want to talk about it, Alex just hugged him. Embracing the other boy, was something that he kind of liked, it was something that really meant to him. If Jimmy needed support; Alex would be a platform, if needed. As simple as that may seem; it was true. He cared about what Jimmy thought of him, more so than most, and honestly that was all that mattered to him at the moment.
In mere moments, Alex inserted the key into the door, both of them entering inside. His parents were still making weird noises, not noticing that the front door was opened. "So do you want to watch a movie or something?" Plopping on the couch, was fun. For some reason, he had a feeling that Jimmy would wonder about how to wrestle. Not that Alex would know how, maybe his parents could show him if the need came up?

Jimmy arched an eyebrow and blinked. "Oh...okay." he murmured. He was moderately surprised, deciding it would be better not to pry by asking why they didn't mind Alex being out late. It was probably information he'd rather not learn anyhow. Though, it was inevitable that he would figure it out. He wrinkled his nose and shook his head, "Alex, that isn't wrestling, that's...er, nevermind." He laughed lightly and rubbed his eyes with a sigh. Jimmy really didn't want to be the one to tell Alex what his parents were actually doing. He decided he'd harmed the boy's innocence more than enough for one night.
A light blush couldn't help but surface when he received a kiss on the cheek. He almost couldn't belive his reaction, but pondered on it as he was dragged back to the other boy's house. He was normally pretty emotionless. Emotions could get you killed out on the streets. Somehow the simple act had made him melt. The entire situation he was crazy to him. He nearly missed the question he was asked. He stood on the porch, locking his gaze on Alex, frowning slightly. Jimmy paused, wrapping his arms around the other and huging him close. "No, no, no...why would I? I mean, you saved my life back there. Why would that make you sappy?" he answered, pressing a kiss against Alex's forehead. "I didn't pull away because I thought you were sappy. I pulled away because I was afraid of what I'd do if I didn't."
He tried to push off the anxious feelings he got from the house, pulling away from Alex and gazing at it. He was about to shake his head and say something, but the words were stolen from his mouth and he flinched at the suddenness of the hug he received. Blinking, he felt his face redden lightly and he smiled, hugging the younger boy back. Jimmy nestled his face into the crook of Alex's neck, holding him close and enjoying the feeling of it. It had made his heart melt just that much more, and butterflies had filtered into his stomach.
Prompted with the question of watching a movie, Jimmy paused, not having seen a movie since he was...well, fairly young. He smiled and shrugged, "Sure. Whatever you want to do." he answered. He didn't mind just as long as he got to stay near Alex.

Alex looked at Jimmy with curiosity when, he didn't say what they were doing. Maybe he just hadn't wrestled before, but then it struck him that people did. Alex dismissed it; nothing important right? He figured stuff like that could wait; he had plenty of time to learn how to, no need to rush. "Have you wrestled before? I haven't yet." Looking into the others eyes made his body freeze for a moment; he did rather love the hue.
Alex felt something when a blush appeared on Jimmy's face, it was new. Maybe it was satisfaction? Or was it glee in the fact that the other felt that way? Honestly he was lost, just like the other moments with Jimmy. "I don't know, just everyone says I am." Jimmy's eyes were locked with his and he tried to look away, but he couldn't. For some reason, it just wasn't possible to pull away from the others eyes, they really made his mind go hazy. "Oh, okay." A smile was planted into his face, the tears that were attempting to fall began to give in, and Alex wiped the tears off of his own face.
A kiss on the forehead made his heart pound, probably letting the other boy know how much he was entranced. What would have happened if he hadn't? Maybe it was something that both of them would have enjoyed, then again it could be something unfavorable. The way that the other said it made it feel ominous, so his soul was peaking with curiosity. What should the two of them watch? Why not a horror? That could be nice. "What about Zombie Slayer?" As he popped it into the television, he remembered how scary he thought it was last time. What a fool he was to put it on right now.

Trying desperately not to laugh, Jimmy bit his lip whilst smiling. It was really hard to not just go ahead and tell the kid what his parents were really doing, but he did his best. He was just as guilty as Alex's parents, trying to spare him from the truth like this. He attempted to be honest, but not...bluntly honest. He almost lost it when he was asked if he'd ever 'wrestled'. Laughing lightly he shook his head and sighed. "Er, yeah. More than one teenager probably should, but...Don't worry about it. You have plenty of time. Don't get in any hurry." he replied, lightly ruffling Alex's hair. The naitivity was strong with this one.
Frowning, Jimmy decided he didn't like this 'everyone' who said his Alex was sappy. Wait? Had he just called the kid 'his Alex'? He was surprised by his own possesive thoughts. "You shouldn't listen to them. Everyone is ignorant. Even me sometimes." he admitted. His eyes widened at the sight of tears and he placed his hand on Alex's cheek. Even despite the smile, he was not pleased when anyone cried. It hurt him to see tears sliding down the boy's face. "Hey, don't cry. Please don't cry. They aren't worth the tears." he murmured. Jimmy hugged him tightly, trying not to show the pain he felt. Deep down, he still didn't like the idea of seeming emotional like everyone else.
Deep down, he only knew half of the things he was capable of. If he hadn't managed to pull away, well, Alex might have figured out just what wrestling really was. Pushing those thoughts to the other side of his head, he smiled slightly. Jimmy, though he'd seen very few movies in his life, knew he was probably a horror movie guy. He'd seen a lot of scary things, so whatever happened on the screen, didn't bother him a bit. Settling down onto the couch with Alex, he snuggled into the other boy, draping an arm around him. It was only as they made it through the main credits did Jimmy start to think this was a bad idea...
